It’s soft and shiny but not too shiny like synthetic hair. It dyes well and takes heat well. I haven’t noticed a lot of shedding either. I have had it installed for about 2 months now and it is still going strong. Even my hair stylist has complimented me on it. She couldn’t believe I got it from Amazon.
