How to make a wig with bundles and closure?
Getting Ready for the Wig.You should measure the head, then make a pattern and secure your pattern on a wig block, next cut the lace, finally, secure the lace on a wig block. This step always was neglected by many women. This is the reason why some girls wig looks like unnatural to some degree. Therefore,if you want to your virgin hair weave looks more natural and beautiful, you would better take care of this step.Otherwise, you would be repent.
Mount your wig head on a wig stand or set it down on a chair or table with tape. You want your wig head to be stable while you are making your wig for easier construction.
You have the option to measure and cut your extensions to fit the circumference of the wig cap while securing them down from back to front. If you're really good at sewing you wont have to cut the wefts and can instead fold them over.As you get mid way through your cap, start laying the tracks down in a more U-shape pattern.Secure your hair extensions down by using needle & thread.
Begin to sew the hair down row by row with your hair bundles leaving an even amount of space between each track you lay down on your cap.
This is the most key steps.First of all,sew the wig under the edge of the cap in order to it can be worn in a high ponytail. Next, sew using the top and full method for secure wefts. Then make sure you secure the edge of your weft before flipping over.
Apply a new technique by laying your track in a U Shape pattern instead of the back and forth pattern. Not only it would allow the track lay smoothly once you finally apply the wig to your hair, but also, don't forget to make sure you have tight neat loop & pull stitches when sowing.
Sewing the lace closure into the front of the cap. Begin by securing it with pearl headed pins at the front of the wig cap, then use the needle and thread to sew it all the way around along the edge. Do not forget to make tight knots, especially at the beginning and the end of your stitching to make sure that the lace closure is secure.
Take your first track and start sewing it to the wig cap from one edge of your lace closure to the other along the bottom edge of the cap (where the nape of your neck will be). When you get to the edge and you have very little track left, secure it with a knot and cut off the excess track. If it is long enough to go another way around, fold it carefully, press on the fold to avoid bumps and continue sewing in the opposite direction.
Once you have sewn all of your tracks all the way to the lace closure, sew the last track to the lace closure. Secure it with a knot and cut off the excess track.Pluck lace closure. Tweeze the hairs in the lace closure to make it look like your real hair. When you are done with the sewing and your wig is starting to look like a wig, take it off the wig head and cut off the excess wig cap that is peeking from under the lace. Make sure you do not cut into the stitching. You can also cut off the excess lace if you want to. Once again,do not cut too close to the hair,or you might ruin the whole thing.
Add a wig band and wig combs to the inside of your wig to add security and make for a more snug fit to your wig when wearing it. The last thing you want is your wig slipping off while you're wearing it in public.Tip:Remove any lace buy cutting it off if you are creating a frontal or closure wig.
At this step, your wig is pretty much done. You can use some moist hair care products on your wig. If you are satisfied with the way the hair looks, you can leave it at that. If you are not, style your wig until you get the hairstyle you want.Next is to test the fit of the wig.Trim the lace. Remove the wig and set it aside. Apply wig tape. Apply the wig.
